… has long been a beloved hobby of our scholarship holder Phurpo. It’s a great balance to the hard studies, but also good for her self-confidence as a girl. At a training camp, she was able to train together with the boys. Kusang Tamang provided her with the necessary material.

… could be harvested in larger quantities for the first time in Chyangsar on the model farm. 10 kg of them were distributed to the children – they were thrilled. For many it was the first kiwi of their lives. We will grow more seedlings and distribute them to the women as well.

… we are able to support 10 girls, this time from all 4 villages, to complete their higher education with the 11th and 12th grade. They live in Sallerie in rented rooms and have their own kitchen. Lena Kremser organised pretty blouses which they were very happy about.

… is also a big event in Kunikhop. Like everywhere else in the world, the girls in Nepal also want to be ” grown up” at last. They proudly receive their school materials and put on their backpacks. For some families it would not be possible to send the girls to school without our support.

… you can not only sew, but also remove eyebrows (not completely painless). In our mentoring program in Pokhara some girls are trained as beauticians. They can then open their own small business-
and thus stand on their own two feet to support themselves and often their children as well. Carola Gosch has tested it herself, a sign of confidence for the women.
