… of the cooperative, the members of the boards received further intensive training in accounting and management. All four villages sent their managers to Kathmandu. Based on their own documents, they were able to work on how to prepare the books, especially for the audit.

For the women, this is very unfamiliar work, which they have already been practising over the past few years with support. By the end of the year, they should be able to do this all by themselves.

We wish them the best of luck.

She is very concerned about the financial burden on her parents, who also have to make their contribution in addition to the great sponsors.

    A huge success …

… was the food festival in Kathmandu. The women from the cooperative in Solukhumbu were very unsure whether people would even be interested in their food. But the first day was already well attended with around 80 guests, and by the end of the day all the prepared dishes had been eaten.
