• Insects …

… as beneficial insects or pests are also part of the Farmers Field School. The women exchange their experiences, learn interesting facts about them and finally “experimental plants” with the insects in the “net” are also planted for study purposes. We are already very curious to see what can be observed here. Many thanks to the Schöck Family Foundation for making this form of learning possible for the women.

  • Putting into practice …

… the women are allowed to put everything they learn at the Farmers Field School into practice in their private greenhouses and fields. Our experts accompany them and discuss specific challenges. Twice a month they are on the road to visit other women. The Farmers Field School in the four villages was made possible by the support of the Schöck Family Foundation. Many thanks for this.

  • Farmers field school ..

…is the name of the in-depth programme with which we accompany a selected group of women – here in Chyangsar – throughout the year, in addition to the certification. The aim is to consolidate what has been learnt and to work directly on ongoing challenges. We are proud of the women who give their best to learn a lot. Many thanks to the Schoeck Family Foundation for supporting this programme in all four villages.

  • Eagerly …

… they train for the next round of certification. First there is theory – men are also starting to take an interest, then everything is practised under the strict supervision of the experts. Of course, there is always fun where many women work together and the children are also present. We are already looking forward to rich yields and new varieties. Many thanks to Schoeck Family Foundation for their great support.

  • Final…

… also at the training hall in Kunikhop. The electrical installation is finished and the furniture from the local carpenters can also be used. For the women, it is a place to learn, celebrate, relax or just to talk about everyday things. We thank the Schoeck Family Foundation for their support.

  • Great …

.. what the women in Kunikhop have achieved in less than 2 years. The founding of a cooperative was followed by a long search for a suitable area and its purchase. With a lot of effort, the area was prepared, a greenhouse and a training hall were built, and sample fields with new vegetables were planted. The women can be very proud of themselves. Many thanks to Schoeck Family Foundation for the financial support of this project.

  • Sustainable …

… means for us to make the women as independent as possible in the future. Thus, the training on seed production in Chyangsar is also an essential part. All findings are also accurately recorded in order to learn from them. More and more new vegetables can be grown and distributed. We are proud of the women who are always ready to learn new things. Many thanks to Fair Styria for setting up the model farm and to Schoeck Family Foundation for the ongoing support of the trainings.

  • Great …

… the women in Kunikhop have implemented the first trainings on organic vegetable cultivation. For the first time, they were able to harvest enough vegetables for the whole family and more in their greenhouses. Not least the organic herbal fertiliser helped them to achieve this. Many thanks to the Schoeck Family Foundation, without whose support none of this would be possible.

  • For the first time …

… Carola Gosch initiated a strategy day with all leading women of the cooperative and the entire team. Questions such as “what were our successes in 2022” and “what are our plans for 2023 and what do we need to achieve them” were discussed very intensively and then presented. Experiences were exchanged, insights gained, but also a lot of laughter and energy built up for the next steps. We would like to thank all the supporters of the projects whose success we were able to celebrate here. Especially Fair Styria and Schöck-Familien-Stiftung make this sustainable development possible.

  • A new board of directors …

…for the Sagarmatha Milijuli Mahila Cooperative. For the first time, all 4 villages are represented and can decide together on the projects. Over 200 women came, the atmosphere was great. There were not only presentations and discussions but also eating, gossiping and dancing. We would like to thank all the supporters who believed in and supported the development of the cooperative. Especially Fair Styria and Schoeck-Familien-Stiftung have financed trainings of the cooperative again and again.
