• Business Management …

… our scholarship holder Akriti from Merangding is studying in Kathmandu. She has already completed grade 11 and 12 in Kathmandu with very good results and is very motivated to start her own business one day. Both her grandmother and her mother are very proud of her. It is a big step from the village to Kathmandu to go to university. We wish her the best of luck and thank to the company toolbox for sponsoring her entire degree programme.

  • Important …

… were the experiences the girls had while helping at the food festival in Kathmandu. Understanding the activities on the farms and appreciating their traditional cuisine are also important for them. They were responsible for registering, selling the vouchers and serving the food. They invited their friends, teachers and acquaintances. They were also proud of their culture. Many thanks to the sponsors who support these girls.

  • A huge success …

… was the food festival in Kathmandu. The women from the cooperative in Solukhumbu were very unsure whether people would even be interested in their food. But the first day was already well attended with around 80 guests, and by the end of the day all the prepared dishes had been eaten. The enthusiasm was so great and was also shared on social media that over 100 guests were served the next day. The women and the team were over the moon. They now have confidence in the quality of their work and are already planning the next events. Many thanks to Fair Styria for supporting our marketing activities.

  • The preparation …

… for the first food festival in Kathmandu was great fun for everyone and the cooperation between the women from all the villages worked well. Many thanks to Fair Styria for supporting the cooperative’s marketing activities.

Many thanks to all the sponsors who have been supporting these girls for years.
