• Independently …

… some women sewed the school dresses for the girls from 3 villages. After last year’s training, this was the first time the seamstresses had worked independently. This means that the added value remains in the village and the women are happy about their remuneration. A suitable school uniform is very important for the girls to be able to go to school. Many thanks to the sponsors whose support enables the girls to go to school well equipped again.

  • Together …

… the women sell their vegetables through the cooperative to so-called ‘vegetable brokers’. This generates income for the women and for the cooperative. This sale is still supported at the beginning, especially in order to negotiate everything with the brokers and stabilise the structures. Many thanks to Fair Styria for their support.
