For 7 years …
… the women from the co-operative have been coming together to present their products. A variety of vegetables, seeds and traditional dishes are presented and awarded prizes. This event, which is always attended by government representatives, increases the appreciation of organic farming. Many thanks to the Schöck Family Foundation for supporting the farms.

Our scholarship holder Asha ..
.. from Merangding is studying computer science, which gives her many job opportunities in Nepal. Adjusting to life in the city was not easy for her, but she now feels very comfortable at university and in her room. In the second year …
… our scholarship holder is already working on very specific tasks. On the computer, in the laboratory, in the workshop but also in the field, she is learning everything she needs to become a good civil engineer in the future. … and cooking together are an essential part of all celebrations. It starts the day before, everyone brings something, we cut, cook, laugh and gossip together. This exchange is important in order to master difficult situations together. Many thanks to Fair Styria for supporting this project.
