• Suicide …

… is still the most common cause of death for Nepali women aged 15 to 49. Faced with physical and physical violence, they often have no one they can trust to help them. Now it has hit one of our girls in the village, at the age of 13 she did not know what to do. We are shocked and grieve with the family. In any case, we will intensify our activities and do everything possible to avoid fates like this in the future. to avoid fates like this in the future. We will not forget our girl.

  • Sustainable …

… means for us to make the women as independent as possible in the future. Thus, the training on seed production in Chyangsar is also an essential part. All findings are also accurately recorded in order to learn from them. More and more new vegetables can be grown and distributed. We are proud of the women who are always ready to learn new things. Many thanks to Fair Styria for setting up the model farm and to Schoeck Family Foundation for the ongoing support of the trainings.

  • Great …

… every space on the model farm in Ghunsa is used. In the future, grain and dried vegetables can be milled and packaged in the new small extension building. This is another small step towards marketing. We are already looking forward to the first products that can be professionally produced here. Many thanks to all the sponsors who have believed in our projects so far.

  • Great …

… the women in Kunikhop have implemented the first trainings on organic vegetable cultivation. For the first time, they were able to harvest enough vegetables for the whole family and more in their greenhouses. Not least the organic herbal fertiliser helped them to achieve this. Many thanks to the Schoeck Family Foundation, without whose support none of this would be possible.

  • Soccer …

… has long been a beloved hobby of our scholarship holder Phurpo. It’s a great balance to the hard studies, but also good for her self-confidence as a girl. At a training camp, she was able to train together with the boys. Kusang Tamang provided her with the necessary material. We are happy for her and wish her a lot of fun, especially many goals 🙂 . Many thanks to our sponsors, through whom we can support the girls.

  • Truss celebration..

… is also held in Nepal as soon as the roof truss is finished. Piece by piece the wood and stones were carried to the building site in Merangding and the training hall was built. Due to the strong price increases it took longer and a lot of voluntary work had to be done. We are proud of the women’s initiative and look forward to great training sessions in the hall. Of course, the completion had to be celebrated. Many thanks to Fair Styria for the great support of this project.
