Kathmandu – Scholarships

In some cases, girls had to move from the villages to Kathmandu, either temporarily or long-term, for security reasons or to continue their school education. Here our support extends to the following areas:

• School fees for currently one girl who lives in a boarding school
• Material for school and occasionally hygiene articles are provided for four girls in Kathmandu.
• Material on a case-by-case basis for the approximately 50 girls at Raksha Nepal
• Food for the families in Kathmandu was especially important during the lockdown, as many families lost their income.
• Individual support for these girls has also been provided in part by Carola Gosch herself since 2013. By now, there is an intensive and trustful exchange regarding their needs and wishes.
