The preparation …

… for the first food festival in Kathmandu was great fun for everyone and the cooperation between the women from all the villages worked well. The aim was to publicise traditional dishes with local products from Solukhumbu in Kathmandu.

Representatives from organisations that want to promote organic farming or have access to the relevant market segment were also invited.

Many thanks to Fair Styria for supporting the cooperative’s marketing activities.

.. the garlic was also brought in large quantities
.. ‘a dish without potatoes is not Nepalese’ 😉
