Move …

the women were able to move their sewing machines into the converted “stable” on the model farm. In addition to a store, there is now also a bright room where the fabrics are stored. The women not only sew masks and washable sanitary napkins here, but also bags and clothes for their own use or for the local market. Although the workshop was set up as part of the project, it is already functioning completely independently under the management of the cooperative. Empowerment final 🙂

Many thanks to Fair Styria for the initial help and congratulations to the Sagarmatha Milijuli Sana Kishan Mahila Krishi Sahakari Sanstha Limited for the independent work.

.. a lot of practice the women could get with the masks and sanitary napkins
.. the building was constructed with wood
.. also masks XL could be fitted and sewn on site
.. it is possible to work under dry and light conditions
.. for all models there are fixed cutting plans
